Simon Ripoll-Hurier was born in 1985 and lives and works in Paris. His works combine music and visual arts and explore “collective images” like Hollywood (Translations, 2008-2010), Broadway (The Broadway Melody, 2010-2013), clouds (This Cannot Be Natural, 2012-2014), and dreams (Dreamland, 2013). In 2014, he began developing “Diana”, a video project based on a radio transmission technique using the moon’s reflection. He collected various “listening practices” involving radio amateurs, birdwatchers, ghosthunters… He also plays with the instrumental surf band Les Agamemnonz and is co-founder of the artists’ web radio DUUU.
