L’Espace 365 is a new space dedicated to artistic research and creation. It is a partnership between Zone Sensible / Parti Poétique and [N.A!] Project, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Ile-de-France region and the Seine Saint-Denis département. It is an open-air site within the Zone Sensible centre for the production of art and food established in Saint-Denis in 2018 by Le Parti Poétique.
It transposes the white cube of contemporary art shows and opens it up to the outdoors. Designed as a kind of “green cube”, it is a production and exhibition gallery within a one-hectare urban farm on the outskirts of Paris.
Entirely dedicated to contemporary art creation 365 days a year, these 365m2 do many things. They:
– make the connection between two types of fertile ground (one provides food for our bodies and the other inspires food for our souls).
– host artists and chefs in residence, exploring themes around Nature–Culture–Food.
– aim to cultivate art in Seine-Saint-Denis’s housing estates and to showcase local artists, providing a platform and exhibition space with links to the international culture scene.
Opening exhibition: Saturday 8 September 2018
