A long-time beneficiary of [N.A!] Project support, Elena Mazzi’s work examines the link between people and their natural environment. Elena used her recent residency at the Nordic Art Association (NKF) to reflect on the impact that technological progress is having on nature in her homeland, Italy.
As she explored this topic, she filmed a prototype for a solar energy wall made with mirrors, the traditional art of Murano glassmaking, and the fragile environment of the Venetian lagoon. Her film “Lacuna” premieres in Sweden on Monday evening 10th December 2018 at the Screening & Conversation event.
